Tournai: heating a hospital with geothermal energy

In Tournai, our teams are deploying their geothermal drilling expertise for a major project: the future Les Marronniers psychiatric hospital. From 2028, this site will accommodate up to 272 patients under court order, in a setting dedicated to care and support. The project involved an ambitious technical program: 150 boreholes, each 150 metres long, drilled by a dedicated team over a three-month period. This project demonstrates our ability to combine technical precision with social ambition, by providing a sustainable geothermal heating solution for an essential facility.


