Geothermal energy in Suarlée

In Suarlée, near Namur, Belgium's first digital control tower center is under construction. This innovative building, designed to centralize air traffic management for Walloon airports, incorporates an advanced geothermal solution. A field of 13 100-meter-deep vertical probes is being installed to provide heating and cooling for the site, meeting the project's carbon-neutral objectives.
